Hey everyone... I know I know.. where are the picutres.. they are coming.. I swear... just need more time then 7 days a week and 24 hours a day... I did however want to drop a note.. for someone that has been dear to me... and I think you all know who... no no .. NOT Zoey this time...  This goes to My loving Wife...                       HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

It has been one year to this day.. and every day I see you in a new light and no matter what Fall in love with you more and more each day.  No matter what you have been there for me and I have appreciated it, (even though it doesn't seem like it some days)  You have kicked my butt into gear on so many levels.. that it is hard to say Thank you ... cause there is so much to be thankful for because of you.  I look forward to many more years of blissful marriage to you. Thank you once again...

.. one problem, getting time to put them on... but I think I have found a way... now to get the time to do all this.  I will see about getting them on slowly this week.  Look for them in the future.  Zoey is starting to put more words together which is good.  She is also getting cuter by the day, the boys are going to have to go through a billion questions when they start coming around to take out little Zoey out for dinner and a movie.  Anyways going to put a little one off to bed and get ready for another long week myself.  Enjoy the week and we will see you on here as soon as I find time to go and get something on here for you all to see.

Update: I put up some more pictures in the Flames page, the series vs. San Jose.  I will be posting Zoeys stuff tomorrow.. now that my time for uploading has been cut down drastically.

Hey all I thought I would leave you this update to keep you going.  I have been really busy with the Stanley Cup Playoffs, work (been working f/t since the end of may) and having visitors... for what you ask... well that one is easy.. for ZOEY'S BIRTHDAY!!!! :) She had a blast with Nana, and Grandpa, and Uncle Barry visiting... but I will get into that more later...

Hey everyone, I hope everything is well.  We just had our May Snowfall (yes we do get snow in May) and it was LOTS of fun.  Zoey is doing really well for someone who is just about ready to turn TWO years old, (where does the time go??)  She is right on time to get her terrible twos going.  She now has the one word that every two year old learns... from somewhere... Can you guess what it is??  For whoever said "mine" you were right... but she also has the motions when she says it to go and pull whatever she has close to body and pretty much hide it. oh well.. that is my little girl.  She also can count to TWO!! ... we are trying to get her to count more.. but we get the 1, 2, 9.  So we have a few inbetween to learn. 

On the other side of things I'm also putting up some pictures, videos of the happenings in Calgary right now.  For whoever doesn't know what is going on over here, the Calgary Flames (a team in the National Hockey League) are in the semi-finals of the playoffs.  Right now they lead San Jose 2-0 in the series and it is coming back to Calgary for games 3 & 4. GO FLAMES GO!!!! (For whoever is saying it... yes I am still a Vancouver Canucks Fan.. but it is hard NOT to get wrapped up in this for one and for two... I'm getting paid more every time the Flames advance... so LET'S GO FLAMES!!!!)

I thought I would add a part where I can write my happenings down and my thoughts of what happens during the day in my life.  I always wanted to go off on a rant every now and then and never could, or share my experience with people, so I thought I would.  Zoey is doing great she is getting more words down and she now says Bye Bye to me when I leave for work, she now says NANA, and Bam PA (Grandpa). Nana and Grandpa talked to her over the phone the other day on Grandpas B'day.  Nana got her usual.... Poooh... (deep breath in) and TIGGEEERRRRRRR.  Grandpa however got a conversation and a half.  I had to grab the other phone to get her off of the one I was using.  Well I know that when she becomes a teenager.. I will be lucky to use my phone... there will be a million and one calls for her.  I still do have a few good years of phone time left though.  Anyways.. check out the site and my area I will try to keep going with it daily.

Well, while Laura and I were sleeping (while watching a movie) something special happened.  The Easter Bunny has Made his first visit to this house, I guess that means that Zoey is old enough to know or learn what Easter is all about.  So tomorrow morning when we wake up (or should I say .. when Zoey wakes us up) We will officially start the Easter egg hunt.  Last weekend Zoey met the Easter Bunny in real life... she was rather scared.. but who wouldn't be if your only 3ft and this bunny is 6+ feet ... but she got A LOT of candy from the Easter Bunny, so she was happy...  and bouncing off of the walls... till 10pm... and wouldn't quit till the sugar wore off....  but that is a different story... Anyways.. I should be off here.. cause I know I will have a little one waking us up at 6:30am ... and she doesn't even fully know about the Easter bunny yet... this will probably be our last time we can sleep in that late on a holiday like this :)  Talk to you all later tomorrow to let you know how things go.......

PT. II- Well Zoey woke us up at 8:30 when we got in there.. she was pointing to one of the spots that the Easter Bunny put the eggs... and then from there she was on her way.. we gave her a bucket and like a seasoned pro she went and found the Easter Eggs one by one... or in some cases.. by the handfuls.  She loved every minute of it, who knew that a 23 month old would know how to do an Easter Egg hunt right away. I have a few pictures for all of you to look at... Picture 1, Picture 2, Picture 3. If you want as well.. I will post a couple of the videos as well, this was closer to the end of the Easter Egg hunt (Quicktime is required to see the videos) Video 1, Video 2.  This next video may take a bit to get so be patient it is well worth the time you wait for it, Video 3 (a little hint if you right click on the link then go to Save Target As.. then chose a spot on your hard drive for it to go, that way you know where it is and how long it will take to download it).   We did have to help her closer to the end.. but she got a majority of them right away... but that is it for now... I will talk to you all later, have a great Easter and I hope the bunny was good to you as well.

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you all know that yes we are still alive... we have moved to a new place and we had to get that all done up so it feels more like home than living out of boxes.  I must say this place is 100x better than our other place. We have a Backyard for Zoey to play in and it feels more like a house, though we are still renting, but it still is one more closer step to getting a real house that we can call our own.  Zoey has been growing quickly and it is rather scary, her vocabulary has been getting much better and she now can climb up stairs by walking up them (since she is almost 3 feet tall) and just seeing her do things is amazing.  Yesterday she used the potty for the first time and wasn't scared to do so either.  And to think only just under 2 years ago she was only so big that you could hold her in one arm.  It has been hard for me cause I have been working my practicum and my P/T job all last week and each time I come home she is sleeping, so I never really get to see her unless it is her in her bed dreaming about a few things (she talks in her sleep), so when I talk to Laura she tells me all the things that Zoey does, like now saying "bye, bye" and "fish" and just acting almost like a four year old would (so what it seems like). I do have some pictures to show you here... Zoey gets up on a chair and she turns the computer and monitor on all by herself, "Picture 1" ,"Picture 2". Or Zoey going and getting her own breakfast, "Picture 1", or when she was talking to Grandpa C. and she took the phone away from me, "Picture 1", "Picture 2", "Picture 3". In any of the cases.. it is nice to see that she has a personality that will melt anyone's heart and she always has. I hope she never loses it what so ever.  Now off to make dinner... I will try to put more up in the weeks to come. but with the way work has been on both fronts it has been busy.. cause getting paid WAY more than what I used to is a prime goal for me and for my family.  Until next time everyone stay safe and keep a camera close by cause you never know when your little one will do something amazing.

Hey everyone, well as you see by the main page here there is a new comic... I know Zoey is past the "learning to walk" stage but she still gets into things (looking at a pile of DVD's and books on the floor).  Zoey is doing great, she now has mastered how to give me a perfect guilt trip before I go to work.  All she does is wanting to play about 10 mins before I have to go to work, then she pretty much pouts when I have to go to work, oh the tolerance I have to build up before she get perfect at it. Well there are more pictures up of our Vacation we went on for Christmas and new years.  I will be putting captions up there when I have a few hours to spare.  Alas I must get ready for work now... only a 8 day week this week... sigh... have fun all and remember, any curiosity that your child has on a couch leads to quick reflexes by mommy and daddy....

Hey All.. for anyone that is checking this out.. you see I have gone and done the unthinkable, I have taken things out of the website and put other things into it.  I do have the backups of the old stuff so if you want copies just get a hold of me, I could possibly send them to you ....(if I know who you are) Other than that look for lots of new stuff coming on here... NOW that I have something that can thumbnail and put pictures up for me, I just have to figure out some of the programming to make it work properly. I have a feeling I will be able to figure that out if I sit down with it and play with it. Alas I digress, I want everyone to know that Zoey is doing Great... she loved her TWO Christmas's, she has had her 18 month shots, and I guess I'm proud to say she isn't like daddy she actually goes and not cries when she gets her shots.. but actually WATCHES!!! We found out that she is 33 INCHES!!! almost 3 FEET tall... which puts her in the 75-90% which she has been all along, her weight is still down a bit.. but the body is trying to keep up with her constant growth, I just hope she doesn't take after the McB side of the family... (no offence all) but my shortness is humiliating enough without having my own daughter talking down to me when she is a teen :) Alas I must get back to my school work, but for now.. watch for more updates and more things going up on this site.  It will be a lot easier to post pictures up here now that I have this new program.  Until then take care all and we will see you on here soon...

Hey everyone, I know .. another two weeks go by and now FINALLY I get another update up, at least there is one.... so here it goes.  I would like to say Congrats to James and Rachel who are now proud parents of a happy baby Girl, Eva Cecily was born on October 23rd at 2:13am, I don't have the weight or height or even head size so I can't put that in there... so if there is any family members that know that info let me know.  Now for Zoey, she enjoyed her first Halloween since she got to wear her Tigger costume, we didn't take her out for treat or treating cause she is still too young, and it was -10 outside, but next year I'm sure we will all go out.  Can you believe that she is 17 months old... sigh.. time is moving way to fast.. but she is still way to cute for words. The other day I asked if I could get a kiss ... each time I do she shook her head.  The only time we really get any kisses is when we are going to school/work and we drop her off at grandma's place.  We go and say bye to her and she waves to us and walks up to us with her kissy face, we go and pick her up and she gives us kisses and hugs... way to cute I tell you.  I went and put her on the webcam so that uncle Barnone could see her and when she saw herself on the computer screen she started waving to it.. making faces.. and looking even cuter than she does.  I have a feeling that is won't be vain at all.... Well until next time I will work on more of this site and get some of the dead links going again.  Have a good one all...
